Due to the ongoing global pandemic, we are not holding our annual Gala this year. While we are sad that we cannot celebrate our successes with you, our top priority is the safety of the SouthWest Metro community.
Our Gala supporting the 2019-2020 school year generated 24 scholarships totaling $29,000. Since its inception, the Foundation has been able to award nearly $200,000 in scholarships, giving students the opportunity to pursue higher education who may not otherwise had the chance.
Through the years, you have changed the lives of many by simply attending this
annual event - and although we cannot be together this year, we want to express our appreciation for your support and offer you the chance to continue to change the lives of the life-long learners attending SouthWest Metro Intermediate District.
We understand the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting us all in different ways. We hope you will donate what you would have spent to attend our event ($75 per individual, $140 per duet, or $550 the cost for a table of eight) and/or your extra donation of $1,000,$500, $250, or $100 that directly supported our scholarships and grant programs and our operations. If you need to donate less, do what you can. We truly appreciate your vital investment in our students.
