After I graduate, I want to work at a large accounting firm, or open my own accounting firm.”Alexander Miranda plans on studying Sound Production and Engineering at The Institute of Production and Recording. He has always been interested in music and is excited to have found a career path that meets up with his passions. Alex will graduate from SW Metro High in June of 2021.Aedan Reinhardt is going to the  University of Minnesota Duluth to pursue degrees in Business and Computer Science. His future goal is to work in business and follow his interests in computers and technology. Aedan’s dream job is to start his own technology business to advance the modern world. He currently is finishing his senior year at Prior Lake High School and will be attending college in the fall of 2021.Gregory Sandoval-Salinas was born and raised in the Shakopee area and finished high school in the Fall of 2020. While his long term goal is to become a screenwriter, he will begin his general coursework at Normandale Community College in June 2021. Gregory is interested in becoming an English teacher while working on his screenwriting.Cheylub Wallace Schmitt plans to pursue a degree in Agriculture and Biosystem Engineering from South Dakota State University.  He grew up on a hobby farm in Jordan.  He is active in the Southwest Metro FFA Chapter and Scott County 4-H.  Cheylub plans to continue his growth in public speaking and leadership for his future in engineering.Theodore Allen Sellnow plans to pursue an Associate Degree in Diesel Technology at Alexandria Technical College. Teddy is an Eagle Scout and a member of the Minnesota Honor Society. Teddy has spent numerous hours volunteering at church, highway cleanups, and other numerous events. Teddy hopes to pursue a career in the Diesel Mechanics field.Phoenix Thurston graduated from Southwest Metro High School in January 2021.   “Since graduating I started working full time with kindergartners at Primrose School of Eden Prairie. I have been accepted to St. Cloud State through their Connections Program and will begin classes in the fall. Nursing has always compelled me and is what I want to do for my career. I decided I want to be there and advocate for people in their most vulnerable moments.”Madeara Gibbons plans to pursue a degree in English Education at Minnesota State University, Mankato. After she graduates, she hopes to work at a high school teaching students English and Literature. She is currently working part-time as a retail associate at Kohl’s in Chaska.Amanda Dorleen Schmieg plans on pursuing a degree in Psychology from The University Of Wisconsin, River Falls. She decided to pursue this field because of her desire to help others. She currently is working at a nursing home as a Dietary Aid and enjoys interacting with the residents. After she graduates college, she hopes to use her degree to help others as a Behavioral Therapist.
