In the event of severe weather, prompting one or all of our buildings to open late or close for the day, we will notify you in a variety of ways.
- On the home page of the District website: in the purple band under the banner photo.
- In the Recent News section on our home page: under the Quick Links section, at the top of the list of news stories.
- On the District Facebook and Twitter pages: Click the social icons at the top or bottom of your page to follow @SWMetro.
- Via text message: if your mobile number is on file with the business office and you have opted-in, you will receive a text message regarding school closures and late starts. To opt-in, text yes to 68453.
- To add or change your contact information for text notifications, contact Jacqueline Johnson: (952) 567-8104
- Via phone call or e-mail: all SWMetro staff will receive e-mails regarding school closures and late starts. To receive phone calls, your number must be on file and you must opt-in. See the School Messenger page under Quick Links on the home page to learn more.
