District Branding

BRAND MANUAL

All district branding & materials must adhere to the Brand Manual and should be routed through the Communications Department by submitting a work order or requesting via email.

If a form or item with district branding is outdated, please forward it to the Communications Department. Please discard all digital files containing logos or brand colors that were obtained earlier than July 31, 2017. New digital files are available for download on this site, depending on intended use.

Any intention to pursue a representation of the district, in part or in whole, must be routed through the Communications Department for approval. A further process may be required, including Administration or Board approval.

These efforts will help unify our district image and project a standard of professionalism and pride.

Downloads of the official district logos and templates can be found in the links above. Included are .jpg files and .png (Portable Network Graphic), which are used in Web design and in Microsoft Office software such as Word and Powerpoint.

This logo system is recommended for all visual representations of the District, including marketing materials, correspondence from the classroom, exhibit items, videos, student handouts, presentations, web pages, etc.

The FULL LOGO is represented by a modified compass rose with the district name in the Southwest corner. This represents the geographic area that our programs reach.

The COMPASS, or accent logo, is a full compass rose without the district name. It is intended to complement the full logo when used within the same document.

If you are an outside vendor and would like to use the SouthWest Metro logo, we ask that you request permission from the Communications Department at the District Office by calling (952) 567-8116.
